What is Drink Industry?
Drinkindustry.com was established as an affordable alternative to "real world" bartending schools. Drinkindustry.com offers the same information that traditional schools offer. However, we offer this service for a price that is much more affordable and a schedule that is built around you.
How much do bartenders make?
This is the definitely the most frequently asked question, and the answer to it can vary greatly. However, a good bartending job should have you bringing in no less than $100 per shift. Some jobs however may be a little less ($50-$70) and some jobs could bring in quite a bit more. For example, a bartenders that work in high volume, upscale dance clubs have been known to make over $1000 on busy nights in tips!
How legitimate is an online bartending school?
Our bartending school is just as legitimate as other bartending schools. With us, you still get the same information and testing procedures as you do at a "real world" bartending school, however you don't need to travel to your bartending school since you can do it in the comfort of your home. Our school is a registered business just like other bartending schools and our certification is valid.
What are my chances of getting a job with your certification course?
Just to clarify... NO bartending school can offer a 100% guarantee that they will ensure a job after completion of the course. The reality of it is that bartending jobs can be hard to find since there is a high demand for them. This being said, having your bartending certification will drastically increase your chances of being employed over those who don't have certification.
In the end, your employment success will have to do with how much work you put into finding a job including your connections, how often you look but most of all... how determined you are.

It has been longer than 24 hours since I have written the test but I have yet to receive my score.
Sometimes when we receive your test scores either a) there was a problem sending it to our account or b) you punched in your wrong email address and therefore we couldn't reply to your email. More often than not, possibility B seems to be the case. In this instance, we still have your test scores but we just can't send it to you until we have your correct email address. Therefore all you need to do is send us an email at info@drinkindustry.com and type "test score" in the subject line. We will then look through our database of email addresses until you find yours. You will then receive your score within 24 hours.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Your one time tuition cost covers everything you need including the shipping of your certificate upon completion of the course.
Why get certified online?
Today, many of the best schools in the North America are offering degree program online. The Internet has become another learning medium. As long as you are a "self starter" and can commit a couple hours out of your day for a few days then you stand to benefit greatly from the benefits of online learning. Since we have no overhead costs (i.e. we don't pay rent, hydro etc), our prices are drastically cheaper. Traditional bartending schools offer their programs for approximately $200- $600. Bartending as a job
We here at Drink Industry feel that bartending is the best job in the world. It is one of the easiest ways to make a lot of money in a fun environment.. It is common for bartenders to work a minimum amount of hours and walk out with an amazing amount of money. Many lounges and clubs are only open during evenings and weekends, it is not uncommon for bartenders to work only 4-5 hours per night and walk away with over $200 CASH. Even if you only worked 2 nights a week you could easily make over $500 when your hourly pay is factored into the equation. That's not bad considering many people have to slave 50 hours a week at some jobs to make that kind of money!
